Certified Security Solutions, Inc. Announces the Acquisition of DHK Associates, Inc.

Expanding Security Services and Market Share in the Pacific Northwest

Certified Security Solutions, Inc. (CSS), a leading provider of information security consulting services, today announced the acquisition of Portland, OR based DHK Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the delivery of regulatory compliance (Sarbanes Oxley, PCI, IT audit), quality assurance, risk assessment, and project management services.

Recognized by Puget Sound Business Journal in 2005 & 2006 as one of Washington's "100 Fastest Growing Private Companies", CSS is quietly building a solid reputation and impressive clientele that includes a substantial portion of the Fortune 1000 companies throughout North America. The combination of security consulting, compliance and assessment services, technology solutions and technical support services meets a growing demand for an ever widening spectrum of IT security related services in the business community.

"The merger of DHK and CSS enhances our ability to provide an exceptionally high degree of customer satisfaction and expands our services offered to include security audit and compliance," said Michael Evans, Chief Executive Officer, CSS. "Our company gains a new practice to help solve our customers' security compliance issues and the highly skilled principals of DHK will now be able to expand this capability nationally. I'm very happy to have DHK as part of our team."

DHK Consultants provide regulatory compliance, project management, imaging, process analysis, and quality assurance consulting services to large state agencies and both private and publicly traded companies. Most importantly, DHK brings extensive project management, documentation, testing, and controls identification required by many businesses under the Sarbanes Oxley Act and Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations.

Cheryl Klein, CEO, DHK Associates, joins the CSS management team to extend the practice nationally. "The synergies of our company's knowledge and technical expertise increase efficiencies for our customers," says Ms. Klein. "Combined with the deep security expertise of CSS, our specialized knowledge and quality assurance capability creates a streamlined workflow providing our customers comprehensive and integrated, audit, regulatory and risk management services."

This strengthens the CSS footprint in the Pacific Northwest, with mutual customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. The combined services will be integrated and distributed throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast operation hubs for CSS.
